Recent work

Work from around Allen County

A few jobs from the last several seasons — winter and summer both.

The front of a brick house with four large overgrown shrubs blocking the porch, and a white lamp post standing in a flagstone-edged bed.
The same porch with the shrubs removed and the railings visible, a new stone-mulch bed with small plantings, and a stone pillar carrying a lantern where the lamp post stood.
After Before
Same porch. The overgrown shrubs came out, the lamp post came back as a stone pillar, and the bed was rebuilt in stone.

What we do

What Alan takes on

Paver patios & fire pits

Circular patios, walkways and fire-pit surrounds, set on a base built to hold them.

Retaining walls, steps & drainage

Stone steps cut into a bank, walls to hold it back, and somewhere for the water to go.

Bed installs & spring cleanups

Tired shrubs out, stone or mulch beds in, then the pruning and edging when spring comes round.

Snow removal

Plowing, shovelling and salt through the winter, for drives and commercial lots.

About

Ask for Alan

Bork Landscaping is a family-run business Alan Bork started here in 2010. The work runs from a single paver patio or a rebuilt front bed up to grounds care for apartment communities and commercial properties, with water features, tree removal and drainage in between.

Alan is the one who comes out to look, and the one who puts a price on it. If what you want is not on this page, ask him.

In their words

“I have had a lot of problems finding reliable snow removal. A friend recommended Bork Landscaping. Alan returned my call within minutes and has been on top of things without fail. He has done what he said he would do and at a fair price. Very happy.”

— Ron B., Google review

“Alan and his team did great work cleaning up our landscaping, pruning, and gutter cleaning. They were very reasonable with pricing, responsive to communication, and paid attention to details. Thanks Bork!”

— Curtis, Google review

“Bork Landscaping gets an A+ in my book! I called Alan Bork the owner at the last minute to snow plow my driveway, not only did he do a great job on the drive, he shoveled my sidewalks and salted everything as well! Thanks for the excellent service!”

Questions

Before you call

Who actually comes out to look at the job?

Alan does. He prices the work himself, and he is the one to talk to if the job changes once it has started.

Do you take small jobs, or only big installs?

Both. A single front bed and an apartment community's grounds are both a normal week here.

Do you mow?

Yes, but the mowing runs on its own crew and its own schedule. Ask Alan about it directly when he comes out, rather than assuming it comes attached to an install.

Do you plow snow?

Yes, through the winter — drives and commercial lots, with shovelling and salt. It is worth calling before the first snow rather than during it.

What else do you do that is not listed here?

Water features, tree removal and drainage work. What is on this page is the common work, not the whole of it.

Where do you work?

Fort Wayne and the rest of Allen County.
